Daniel Snyders is a British painter whose atmospheric work draws on memory, nature and the places that stay with us. His imagined Mediterranean landscapes are particularly influenced by time spent in the mountains of the Costa Blanca, blending recollection and reality to create places that feel both familiar and dreamlike.

CONCEPT
Daniel and I discovered a shared connection to an area in Spain, where I lived for a time when I was younger. I recognised the nostalgia and sense of longing in his paintings immediately.
The visual identity grew from that feeling. Rather than competing with the richness of Daniel’s work, I created something muted and mature that gives the paintings room to shine. The Mediterranean-inspired palette is paired with a retro typeface with an unexpected edge, bringing a little tension and character to the identity.
